Offering a full spectrum of firearms training, including safe gun handling, recreational shooting and armed self defense, "AllSafe Defense Systems is here to empower people to take charge of their lives," says chief instructor TJ Johnston. AllSafe Defense Systems provides a wide variety of courses, including fun and recreational shooting, to serious armed and unarmed self-defense, and NRA Instructor Certification courses. AllSafe's unique StreetSMART workouts provide personal training in everything from basic awareness, assault avoidance, full-contact street fighting, to firearms training. You choose what YOU want in a self defense program! (sorry, no kids!)

Orange County: making the CCW impossible to obtain?

I just received an E-mail from the Orange County Sheriff declaring that all candidates for CCW, either brand new or two year renewal will need to attend a POST certified course at a local community college. Gregg Bouslog of the On-Target Range has asked for a meeting with the Sheriff to clarify. It appears that there is no live-fire component! Or, there is for cadets who are enrolled as Criminal Justice majors, training to join law enforcement agencies. How civilians who merely want to exercise their Constitutionally-guaranteed right to "bear arms" is not clear. This new requirement starts September 1st. Stay tuned.

ATTENTION REPEAT SHOOTERS!

In light of our current government-caused economic distress, I wish to do my part by discounting 60% off any fee for any repeat shooters to the same AllSafe Instructional course. That's right! California Legislative Activity

AllSafe Intermediate Handgun
This class (August 1st) is for those shooters who have their own handgun and want to push themselves to the next level. We work on the draw stroke, shooting strong hand and weak hand (!!!) unsupported, and then most importantly, using cover to engage targets. That means you need to move! We'll be shooting from low cover which will include shooting from kneeling and prone! Lotsa gun fire in this course!
